Determining the Perfect Site – Site Checklist

The Drive itself
 
The Site should have room to set up
these designated areas:
Registration Area
Confidential Medical History Area
Vital Statistics Area
Blood Collections Area
Canteen Area

The Site should have the following equipment:

Multiple electrical outlets for equipment
Clean restroom facilities. The restrooms should be close by, have soap, towels, hot-running water for donors, volunteers and staff.
The Perfect Site should be:
Well lit, ventilated, heated or air-conditioned
Set with adequate reserved parking for the Mobile Bus
( if appropriate )
Able to be cleared of furniture and equipment
Keep in mind that your representative from Community Blood Council will assist you in finding the perfect site. We want to make sure that the site will make donors feel comfortable and encourage them to participate in the next drive.
