Archie Mortera
As our Graphics Designer, Archie’s achievements include: a fabulous logo; wonderful, colorful posters for our blood drives; the now-famous vampire smiley T-shirt, numerous brochures…the list goes on and on. In addition to designing all of our graphics needs, Archie also prints all of our publications and graphics materials in-house, which has saved CBC-NJ thousands of dollars.

Probably our most widely-traveled employee, Archie hails from Laguna, in the Philippines. His family moved to Guam and then to Beaverton, Oregon, where he attended Portland Community College, receiving an A.S. in psychology and then a B.S. in graphics design from Oregon State. He studied in Montreux, Switzerland as part of an exchange program, and then went on to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, receiving a B.F.A. in graphics and packaging design.

Another feather in Archie’s cap was the logo design for Disney on Ice. Prior to coming to CBC-NJ, he worked with Ames Scullin O'Haire Advertising and Liquid Graphics Design Studio, both in Atlanta. His awards include first prize in the CB Richard Ellis direct mailer contest and a silver crown Award from Scholastic Press Association for the design of the Oregon State Yearbook. He is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts Los Angeles and a Taliesin West Volunteer.
Hobbies: a volunteer with the American Cancer Society, cooking, movies, tennis and spur-of-the-moment travel to far-away places.
