They Are Our Sunshine!
Sunshine Foundation president Cathy DiCostanzo and vice president Harry Masterson along with Fred Dow, president, and Richard Smith, vice president, both of Ewing Township’s PBA Local 111 and Ewing Police Chief Robert Coulton came by CBC-NJ on Tuesday, June 7th to kick off their upcoming blood drive. They are co-sponsoring the drive with us, which will be held on Thursday, July 7th from 4-8 pm at Ewing PBA headquarters, located at 10 Chief Wm. Forst Drive in Ewing. Kudos to Account Rep Janet Mastrosimone who organized the event!

Saving Lives is Their Goal. Opening their public awareness campaign for the upcoming blood drive co-sponsored by The Sunshine Foundation and the Ewing Twp. PBA, pictured here are (L-R) Community Blood Council of New Jersey CEO James J. Gosnay, Sunny the Bear, PBA Local 111 President Fred Dow, PBA V.P. Richard Smith, Sunshine Foundation President Cathy DiCostanzo, Harry Masterson, Fiery Freddie, CBC-NJ Account Representative Janet Mastrosimone and Ewing Twp. Police Chief Robert Coulton. |
Both the Sunshine Foundation and the PBA hope for a great turnout and encourage local area residents to call CBC-NJ’s Donor Relations Department at 609-883-9750 to set up an appointment.
“We typically face a shortage of blood and blood supplies during the summer months,” Mr. Gosnay remarked. “At the same time, it’s the primary season when blood is in greatest demand.”
