| A Spectacular 15-Bed Drive in Old Bridge!
Cheesequake Fire Department
Supports Connor Gerity
Connor Gerity is a very lucky 11-year-old. Severely injured while riding a small dirt bike, he suffered a fractured femur, facial injuries and a collapsed lung. Sent by Medivac to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, he was recently sent to Johns Hopkins, where he is undergoing further treatment.
Connor’s father Thomas is the Fire Marshal for Cheesquake-Fire District 2 in Old Bridge, N.J., which hosted a 15-bed blood drive on Thursday, August 4th in Connor’s name. We were invited by the New Brunswick Area Hospitals (NBAH) blood center to run the blood drive with them. The brothers from Old Bridge and surrounding districts turned out in full force to support this drive, and we are very grateful to all of them for their participation.
